Hotel Pickup

Pickup is usually arranged from hotels in Cusco’s main tourist area. If your hotel is located on a narrow street where vehicles cannot enter, we will set a nearby meeting point.

For private service, pickup timing may be adapted to the agreed route. For group service, pickup time is fixed and must be followed carefully.

Luggage Storage

This is a half-day tour, so travelers should not bring large luggage.

Large bags should stay at your hotel in Cusco. Bring only a small backpack with water, jacket, rain poncho, documents, camera, and personal items.

Payment Conditions

A deposit or full payment may be required to secure the guide, vehicle, and operation space.

Entrance tickets are usually paid separately unless your confirmation states that they are included. This gives travelers more clarity because some tickets depend on nationality, age, student status, or local rules.

The remaining balance, if any, must be paid before the tour or according to the agreement made with the Elvis Adventures reservations team.

Availability

Useful Information

Main Sites of the South Valley

Tipón is known for Inca terraces, water channels, fountains, and agricultural areas. It is one of the clearest examples near Cusco of how the Incas worked with water and slopes.

Pikillaqta is a large pre-Inca Wari site. Its long walls, straight layout, and open spaces show an older Andean city model before Inca rule.

Andahuaylillas is a small town known for the San Pedro Apostle Church. The interior includes paintings, religious art, woodwork, and colonial decoration.

Strikes and demonstrations are common in Peru, and they may interrupt some tours. Roads can be blocked, and traffic may change without much notice.

If this happens, Elvis Adventures will try to keep your trip as close as possible to the original plan. In some cases, the route may be adjusted, delayed, or canceled.

In case of changes or cancellations, our operations team will coordinate with you directly. Your safety is always the main priority.

Lost Objects

Please pay attention to where you leave your belongings and remember to take everything once you leave our transport, restaurants, churches, archaeological sites, or waiting areas.

Each traveler is responsible for personal belongings during the tour. Elvis Adventures is not responsible for lost items left in public areas, vehicles, restaurants, churches, or sites.

Health and Physical Conditions

This tour is not physically demanding, but it takes place at altitude and includes short walks on stone steps, compact dirt, and uneven paths.

Travelers with strong knee pain, recent surgery, vertigo, mobility limitations, heart conditions, or altitude sensitivity should tell the reservations team before booking.

Older travelers can take this tour, but private service may be better because the pace can be adjusted.
